Come and explore the possibilities of altered books…..
We will be looking how old books can be given new life turning them into sculptures, collages or giving them a completely new theme .Using a variety of materials participants will explore different techniques such as paper folding , printing,collage and sgraffito.We will also investigate contemporary book artists for inspiration.
Over the day participants will work towards creating a personal book, or sculpture.
Basic art materials and tea and coffee provided.
For those with rumbling tummies please bring your own lunch /snacks.
